Police Headquarters Building, Akita Prefecture

This building is earthquake-resistant and safe, allowing the police to function at all times. It was built adjacent to the prefectural police headquarters as a disaster prevention base for the entire prefecture. It was also planned with consideration for the surrounding government district, and was designed to create a sense of unity and rhythm as a group of buildings that are connected to the existing government buildings.
