Marunouchi Kitaguchi Building

An office building located in the northeast corner of Marunouchi Oazo in front of Tokyo Station.
We aimed to improve the flexibility and environmental performance of the building as a tenant. The exterior design emphasizes the verticality of the corners, aiming to act as a gate tower for Marunouchi. The entrance hall is based on the layout of the buildings and samurai residences that stood in the area, with the scenery of those times engraved into the granite floor. This Landscape Design aims to pass on the memories of this area to future generations, as they would easily be reset if redevelopment were to take place.
