Rain garden demonstration experiment on Marunouchi Nakadori Street

We conducted a demonstration experiment of a "rain garden" (a planting space that temporarily stores rainwater when it rains and allows it to seep underground over time) using part of the road planting strip Marunouchi Nakadori Street.
As a consultant for the demonstration experiment, we were responsible for planning, coordinating with the relevant companies, and compiling the results of the experiment.The demonstration experiment revealed that rain gardens are effective to a certain extent as a countermeasure against sudden heavy rain and the heat island effect.
