Rain garden demonstration experiment on Marunouchi Nakadori Street
A demonstration experiment was conducted on a "rain garden" (a planting space that temporarily stores rainwater when it rains and allows it to seep underground over time) using part of the road planting strip on Marunouchi Nakadori Street.
As a consultant for the demonstration experiment, we were in charge of drawing up the plan, coordinating with the relevant companies, and compiling the results of the experiment. The demonstration experiment revealed that rain gardens are effective to a certain extent as a measure against sudden heavy rains and the heat island effect.
