This tenant office building stands on the border between the commercial district facing Aoyama-dori, one of Tokyo's most famous thoroughfares, and the residential area that stretches out behind it.
We aimed to create a building that would act as a form of "urban development" by creating small paths and pocket parks within the site to draw people in from the main street and bring a high level of mobility to the dual-faceted area.
The pilotis, designed with careful consideration for Landscape and materials, aim to create a coexistence of urban and human scales, and the outer and inner balconies that characterize facade allow for a variety of spaces to accommodate various scenarios and enable diverse working styles, creating a workplace that enhances employee interaction and engagement.
