This tenant office building stands on the border between the commercial district facing Aoyama-dori, one of Tokyo's most famous thoroughfares, and the residential area that spreads out behind it.
We aimed to create a building that would act as an example of "urban development" by creating paths and pocket parks within the site to draw people in from the main street and to bring increased mobility to the dual-characterized area.
The pilotis, designed with careful consideration given to Landscape Design and materials, aims to create a coexistence of urban and human scale, and the outer and inner balconies that characterize facade are among the spaces that cater to a variety of situations, enabling diverse working styles. A workplace that enhances employee interaction and engagement has been created.
