A development plan for a complex consisting of offices, a hotel, and commercial facilities is underway on the site of I'ms, a former information receiving and transmitting base in the center of Fukuoka City and a symbol of Tenjin.
The development concept is "Fukuoka Cultural Ecosystem - Continuing to create a new culture for Fukuoka together," with the aim of creating a city where a new "circulation of exchange" is born and rich culture and lifestyles are realized.
Aiming for a design that will become a new landmark for the area, facade is organically arranged with CLT panels made from materials from Kyushu and plantings. The lower floors, which feature V-shaped columns and an atrium, will also feature a lush green plaza where people can relax. The entire development, including an underground plaza connected to the underground mall, aims to improve pedestrian convenience and mobility in the area.
