Veneti-An Tea House / Arabi-An Tea House

Veneti-An Tea House / Arabi-An Tea House

"Veneti-An Tea House" and "Arabi-An Tea House" are a series of tea houses that are the world's first to use food waste as their structure, and were unveiled at the "TIME, SPACE, EXISTENCE" exhibition held in conjunction with the Venice Biennale in 2023 and at Dubai Design Week.
We have developed a globally deployable form-generation algorithm that creates comfortable spaces by manipulating sunlight based on the latitude of each region. We have also refined building materials from distinctive food waste from around the world to create a pavilion that is "100% recyclable."
All of the building materials, which are made up of small pieces, can be packed into suitcases and transported and installed independently, contributing to reducing CO2 emissions during transportation. This is an approach that combines "global and local" and "resource recycling."
