HEAT DX
The use of renewable energy is increasing as we move towards a carbon-free society. district heating and cooling facilities (DHC) are expected to act as a demand response resource to address the issue of fluctuations in power supply due to natural conditions.
Currently being tested at the Osaka Station DHC Plant (Plant 2), "HEAT DX" is a service that uses a highly accurate digital twin model built from data collected by IoT devices from DHC in operation to provide DHC operators with real-time information such as load forecasts, operation plans, and evaluations to support the optimization of operations. It is expected to solve problems surrounding the heat equipment industry, such as responding to labor shortages and energy conservation, as well as provide a solution to the future priority issue of introducing renewable energy into large-scale power transmission networks.
