Wooden Design
Wood, a building material, is attracting attention today not only for its spatiality and comfort, but also from the perspective of environmental friendliness, such as forest conservation through appropriate use and the reduction of embodied carbon * through carbon fixation.
In this environment, Mitsubishi Jisho Design, which has developed and implemented a wide range of techniques in wooden construction and wood-based architecture over many years, offers a diverse range of implementation options that respond to client policies and costs.
Mitsubishi Estate Group is promoting wooden construction and wood-based urban and architectural projects with the goal of making cities "second forests" and achieving net zero by 2050. As a "circulatory system in which cities and forests coexist," the entire group is building a wood utilization network that connects wood procurement, planning, design, construction, and post-completion operation. As an Architectural Design firm, we are working with clients and stakeholders to realize a sustainable society.
