ConsultingProjects［ コンサルティングプロジェクト ］01営業しながら新しい展示施設にリニューアル　サンシャイン水族館Exhibition Spaces Renovated While Operating – Sunshine Aquarium集客施設である水族館は陳腐化しないためにも定期的な展示のリニューアルが不可欠です。2011年の全館リニューアルに続く今回のリニューアルでは、水族館が建物の最上階と屋上に位置することを生かし、都会の風景と空・太陽・風による開放感のあるランドスケープとしました。また、「水槽越しに青空や池袋の周辺ビルが見える水槽をつくりたい」という事業者からの要望を受け、天空ペンギン水槽（ペンギンがまるで都会の空を飛んでいるかのように見える水槽）をはじめ、動物の特性を生かした展示水槽を計画しました。水族館を営業しながらの工事であり、運営スケジュールとの調整や近隣・テナントに配慮し防音パネルで覆うなど細心の注意を払い工事を進めました。To remain attractive to customers and avoid seeming obsolete, facilities like aquariums require periodic renovations. The most recent complete renovation of Sunshine Aquarium, carried out in 2011, took advantage of its location on the top oor and roof of its building to create an open landscape of urban scenery, sky, sun, and wind. The client wanted to create see-through tanks that showed scenes on the other side, such as the sky or surrounding buildings in the Ikebukuro district. In response, we planned tanks that would highlight the characteristics of the animals, such as the penguins in the sky tank (a tank to show as if penguins are ying over the city of Ikebukuro). The aquarium remained open and operating during renovation work, which was coordinated with the operating schedule. Particular attention was paid to preventing disturbances to neighbors and other tenants, for example by installing soundproof panels to suppress noise.Year Book 2018Consulting Projects030
