CLT PARK HARUMI
This project was for an exhibition facility promoting cross laminated timber (CLT) made domestically in Japan. After being used as a temporary facility in Harumi, Tokyo for a period of one year from its completion up until the fall of 2020, it will be relocated to the city of Maniwa in Okayama Prefecture as a permanent structure. In addition to expressing the possibilities of CLT as a new material in the form of two buildings with different structures — a pavilion building and an indoor exhibition building — we also developed technical expertise related to the construction methods and details that make the relocation of the facility possible.
